WHAT IS 8 A.M.?
8 A.M. is a comic book set in the late 90's/early 00's, about a group of young ravers in New Orleans, LA.
We follow The Crew: Max/ Chris/ Slab/ Grace/ Zack/ and Deal as they navigate young adulthood against the backdrop of the nearly century old State Palace Theater.
Home to cinema, live theater, and music performances the State palace was also home to the vibrant rave scene in NOLA.
The State Palace parties were thrown by a group known as the FreeBass Society, led by 'Disco Donnie' Estopinal and Dan Millstein.

Leased to them by brothers Brian and Robert Brunet.

By the late 90's events at the State palace Theater could bring a couple thousand party-goers. DEA Investigation and Joe Biden stuff.
